The Driveway camera is a Hawking HNC300 wired network camera.
The camera is housed in a heated - fan cooled commercial enclosure. It is mounted under the eaves of the garage. Standard AC
power is supplied without backup so momentary power bumps will interrupt camera operation. The camera is like most network cameras in that it has
built in software that will upload images to the net without a computer. That internal software is used to generate the images in the
24 hour review page.
The camera software does not allow inserting date or time information. The camera is supported by other popular webcam software (such as
Kabcam) that does allow date and time overlays on the image.
